The trunk is visible to the right. The sections were so thick we had to cut from both sides &#8212; the bar on the largest chainsaw we use is 18 inches long.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sootypaws.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/road_clear.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-174\" src=\"http:\/\/sootypaws.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/road_clear.jpg\" alt=\"road_clear\" width=\"450\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"http:\/\/sootypaws.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/road_clear.jpg 450w, http:\/\/sootypaws.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/road_clear-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the view of the cleared branches and stuff toward home. We spent about 3 hours clearing this section of the road. Downed trees on the county line road took another two mornings to clear. One of those trees what a large white oak so we were able to get some firewood out of this.
