{"id":412,"date":"2011-07-09T11:43:59","date_gmt":"2011-07-09T15:43:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sootypaws.net\/blog\/?p=412"},"modified":"2022-04-15T11:44:52","modified_gmt":"2022-04-15T15:44:52","slug":"new-youtube-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/sootypaws.net\/blog\/2011\/07\/new-youtube-video\/","title":{"rendered":"New YouTube Video"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>\nWe put up another YouTube video yesterday, titled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bhWjg1zRl6A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Natural Gas: Blunders and Numbers<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n state was not able to pass new regulations for the oil and gas industry\n in the most recent session earlier this winter. That&#8217;s not really a \nhuge surprise, considering how much pressure the industry was putting on\n both the legislative and executive branches to do nothing. It&#8217;s always \nputting pressure so that nothing is done which is why things are in the \nshape they are now: contaminated streams and rivers, contaminated ground\n water, well site accidents, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our newest video is about \nwhat we&#8217;ve seen in our area in respect to industry&#8217;s compliance to the \nstate&#8217;s laws. It&#8217;s not a pretty picture, especially when the numbers get\n totaled and compared to the 55,000 producing wells in this state. West \nVirginia has a serious problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attempts now are being made to \npass new regulations during an interim session.
