Geographic location: latitude 38.463399, longitude -81.719805

This is a storage well located just north of Route 622 near Camp Virgil Tate in Kanawha county.

The well appears to be well maintained and has good identification markings, in this case on a meter shed next to the wellhead. This is a formerly producing well that has been converted to be a storage well.

This storage well is off Route 622 close to Camp Virgil Tate. The brightly painted wellhead is typical of this operator.

The meter shed has placards with the well's API number and emergency contact telephone number.

On the other side of the meter shed are the pipelines serving the well. All the metal at this site has been carefully painted. The access road is graveled.
