The roof went on before the wall sheathing. We put down plywood for the roof, covered it with tar paper, and came back a few months later and put a metal roof on. Metal roofs have a lot of condensation during certain times of the year. The plywood layer protects the insulation and keeps it dry.

Molly is working on an impromptu loft, using it as scaffolding while we put up the plywood roof sheathing. We slid sheets of plywood up poles (one is to the left in the picture). A person on the roof would catch the sheet and draw it the rest of the way up.
