Kittens, 3

6/18 -- Grey and Blondie began to be weaned from cat milk substitute almost 4 weeks after moving inside. We started out with baby food (squash and meat without onions), a bit of KMR's 2nd Step, and milk then moved quickly to adding canned kitten food. Blondie caught on to eating off a plate a day before Grey did.

6/18 -- Grey has always been an enthusiastic eater, usually having at least two feet in his plate.

6/22 -- Grey and Blondie eating canned food. Grey has all four feet on the plate and eating as quickly as he can. He'll run over and start on Blondie's if we'd let him.

6/30 --

7/2 -- The main play area was around Molly's rocker. She set three baskets so Grey, Blondie and Kitty Boy could each have one.

7/9 -- This was a big day for Grey because he finally made it up onto the couch. It took Blondie about a week longer before he was able to get up on his own.

7/11 -- The kittens' play area expanded greatly when they began to be able to climb stairs. The addition became a favorite play area with the bookcases being their focus. Blondie would climb behind the books and "hide" from Grey.

7/21 -- Kitty Boy and Grey on the threshhold to the addition's screened porch. Grey is growing by leaps and bounds but still has a ways to go before he'll be as big as Kitty Boy and Bobo.

More kittens -- the kittens play.
